Important Dates

Remember these important dates as you register spots, select citizens and provide information.

December 31, 2024 – Last date to reserve citizen spots at $400 each. You do not need to pay until the citizen registers. Do not send registration money to Department Headquarters, your Unit will be invoiced when your citizen completes registration. Payment is not due until citizen is registered but before April 15th.  If you have more than one Citizen, you can wait till all Citizens are registered before paying.

To see if your citizen is registered, please log into Campwise using your Unit login and view their status at any time.

Citizens may begin to register online with Citizen Registration link provided by Girls State Unit Chairman. 

March 31, 2025 – Last date for citizens to register online for Iowa Girls State.

April 15, 2025 – Unit payment deadline

Units will be able to register beginning October 1, 2024.

You will receive approval confirmation of your registration on/after December 15th, 2024.
